View from Montisi
The 2015 Solas Awards were announced on March 1, 2015. My story of discovery in a small grocery in the Tuscan town of Montisi was awarded the Silver Award in the category of Travel and Shopping.
The annual awards sponsored by Travelers’ Tales, recognize the best travel stories each year. Many of the winning stories will be featured on the Travelers’ Tales website throughout the year and some will be included in future publications such as the mobile publication, Tales to Go, or in a future volume of the Travelers’ Tales Best Travel Writing series.
